Greetings, and welcome to the Illinois Professional Division website. I am Dustin Unverfehrt, and I am so excited to be serving as your 2006-2008 Professional Division President.  I currently reside in Nashville, Illinois, and am employed by West Washington County School District.  In my spare time, I fill in at The Maschhoffs, Inc., Barkau and Unverfehrt, P.C., and Unverfehrt Stock Farm, Inc.,  I also serve as a 4-H leader. When I am not working, I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to wineries, boating, gardening, and just being outside.

I got my start in this organization as a junior in high school when I joined FBLA. I continued my involvement when I started at Kaskaskia College, and then Southern Illinois University Carbondale. While in school, I held several local offices, as well as State Ambassador, Treasurer, Vice President, President, and North Central Vice President.

I am looking forward to a great year for not only the Professional Division, but also FBLA and PBL. Sara, Ryan and I have already been working hard to get the year off to an amazing start. If we can be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact any of the officers.  I hope to see you at future FBLA-PBL events.

Greetings.  I am Tracy Lake .  I am pleased to be your 2007-08 Illinois Professional Division Vice President.  Dustin, Ryan and I have been working diligently on some new ideas for this upcoming year and we can not wait to share them with you.

I am currently an accountant at Southern Illinois University Carbondale as well as an adjunct professor at Springfield College in Milwaukee , WI .  I also serve as one of the SIUC local chapter advisers, and I currently sit on the Illinois Phi Beta Lambda State Board.  I have held several Professional Division offices over the years and am happy to once again be able to serve this organization. 

I have been a member of FBLA-PBL for 17 years now and it has truly been a memorable ride.  I hope to be able to share many more years with each of you.  FBLA-PBL is a major part of my life and I am always searching for new ways for it to reach others as well.  I encourage each of you to look for some part of this organization that you can fall in love with and get as much, if not more out of it as I have.

 

Ryan Brakhane

Greetings.  My name is Ryan Brakhane and I am your 2006-2007 Professional Division Secretary/Treasurer.  I reside in Fairview Heights, Illinois, but was born and raised in Worden, Illinois.

Currently I am employed as an Administrative Assistant in the Advertising/Graphics department at the headquarters of Stifel Nicolaus in downtown St. Louis.  In May 2003, I received my Associates degree from Southwestern Illinois College in Bellville as an “Electronic Publishing Specialist.”  I am currently working on my Bachelors degree in Technical Management at DeVry University and anticipate graduating February 2007.

I began my involvement with PBL in the fall of 1999 at Southwestern Illinois College by being recruited from a member.  It is unfortunate that I was unable to be involved in FBLA, but my high school did not have a chapter.  Once I joined PBL, I knew that I was going to be member for life.  This organization has really helped me grow, both personally and professionally, and also to be more confident in myself.

I am looking forward to a great and successful year working with everyone.  Please do not hesitate to contact myself or any other member of the PD team.
