Nicki Wilhelm
President

E-Mail Nicki

My name is Nicki Wilhelm, and I will be serving as the Illinois Phi Beta Lambda President in 2008-2009. I am currently a student at McKendree University pursuing a degree in Accounting, and I work at the Kilian Corporation as an Accounts Payable Clerk. The FBLA-PBL organization has been a large part of my college experience, and my involvement has been very beneficial to me. This will be my fourth year in the organization, and I have found that FBLA-PBL offers so many opportunities for students to improve their skills as leaders, communicators, networking individuals, and team members, and I would like to encourage all members to take full advantage of these opportunities. The 2008-2009 officer team plans to work hard at achieving our goals, and I look forward to a great year for Illinois Phi Beta Lambda! I hope all members feel the same excitement because FBLA-PBL can be your guide to a successful future!

Greetings and welcome to the 2008-2009 Illinois Phi Beta Lambda year! My name is Brandon L. Rahn and I will be serving as your state vice-president this year while we work towards making Illinois PBL one of the best chapters in the country!

I currently attend Southern Illinois University Edwardsville where I am double majoring in Political Science and Economics; however, I am originally from Lincoln , Illinois . 2008-2009 will be my sixth year with FBLA-PBL. I have served as an Illinois FBLA State Vice-President and the FBLA National President in 2006-2007. Through these experiences I have gained much knowledge about the organization, business, and leadership. Besides Phi Beta Lambda, I am also the Finance Board Chair for SIUE Student Government, the Honors Program Student Assistant, the Illinois March of Dimes State Youth Chair, along with positions in other organizations.

It is exciting to once again be an Illinois State Officer in order to serve you. The State Officer Team has exceptional ideas for the coming year, and I cannot wait to see all of you at the Illinois State Leadership Conference in April!

Hi, I'm Alishia Winkler, and it's an honor to serve as your 2008-2009 Illinois PBL State Secretary. I know this will be a great year for Illinois Phi Beta Lambda.

I am currently enrolled at Kaskaskia College in Centralia , IL , and Franklin University in Columbus , OH , pursuing dual bachelor degrees in Web Development and Marketing. I work as a full-time freelance graphic designer, presently under contract with CiCi's Pizza. I'm also a wife of almost 13 years and a mom to two wonderful sons.

This is my second year in PBL. I served as Kaskaskia College Chapter President in 2007-2008 and hope to retain that position for the 2008-2009 school year. Although my time with FBLA-PBL has been relatively short, I am completely dedicated to the organization and plan to be involved with it for many years to come.

Parliamentarian

E-Mail Matt

Greetings on behalf of Illinois Phi Beta Lambda. I am Matt Rennie, and I am pleased to serve as your 2008-2009 Illinois State Parlimentarian. I am currently in my last semester at Southwestern Illinois College , where I will be receiving my AA/AS and plan on attending the University of Missouri in the fall 2008.

I started with this organization when I was in highschool, during which I asked my senior prom date to prom on The Early Show in New York City during a FBLA trip. After that I continued my involvement at Southern Illinois Carbondale, and then at Southwestern Illinois College where I served as the 2006-2007 local president, and then the 2007-2008 Illinois State President as well as serving on the North Central Regional Action Council.

I am excited to serve with a distinguished group of leaders this year in being your Illinois State Officer team. We have plenty of great ideas and revamped goals for the new year, as well as a new supervisory structure that will make sure the goals are being addressed. Good luck with your chapters as well as your personal life this year and help make this a standout year.
